Aminat Yusuf Rewarded with Automatic Employment by Edo State Governor

Aminat Yusuf, a young graduate from Lagos State University (LASU), has garnered national attention and commendation for achieving a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.0, breaking a 40-year record at the institution. In recognition of her remarkable achievement, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state has offered Yusuf automatic employment to ensure she remains in her home state.

Governor Obaseki expressed his admiration for Yusuf's outstanding academic performance during a press conference held in Benin City, the capital of Edo state. He emphasized that the decision to offer her automatic employment goes beyond mere congratulations and aims to prevent the potential loss of talent to other states. Obaseki revealed that the Edo state government intends to propose to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) that Yusuf be allowed to serve in her state of origin.
