Rector of gateway ICT polytechnic
Kolawole Oyeyinka: rector of gateway ICT polytechnic

The Rector of the Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic, Ogun State, Kolawole Oyeyinka, has cautioned the students of the institution to avoid cultism and unfortunate activities fit for tarnishing the image of the school or be prepared "to graduate rashly".

Oyeyinka gave this admonition while tending to the new admissions of the polytechnic at the fourteenth registration function of the school.

The Rector noticed that incredible exertion had been made by the administration to guarantee the institution was run as per the worldwide standard, demanding no type of debauchery by the students would be endured both on and off-grounds.

He underlined that the school has zero-resilience for any type of wrongdoing, particularly cultism, pronouncing that "the polytechnic would not spare a moment to remove any students who sets out on cultism or whatever other demonstration that can discolor the delightful picture of our organization".

While saluting the registering students, Oyeyinka charged them to keep the principles and guidelines of the establishment, and face their scholarly interest with all the earnestness it merits.

The Rector, who unveiled that the organization has been evaluated second best polytechnic in Ogun and truly outstanding in Nigeria, similarly said "the school had left on the construction of another 1,200 limit amphitheater, the Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Skill Acquisition.

“When the Centre is completed, it will seek to train about a thousand students per academic session, ranging from skill acquisition, auto mechanic, building service, block making, block laying masonry and pipe laying among other skills." He said.
