JAMB 2020 UTME reg. coming soon!

JAMB, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has advised applicants not to pay for any services to any of its staff. Instead, JAMB asked candidates to direct all payments to the Treasury Single Account, TSA for their services. It comes on the heels of reports that some JAMB employees in their office in Lagos were extorting N2000 from students who wanted to do any online documentation with them.

In response, JAMB said it frowns at any form of financial transactions between candidates and their staff. On Thursday, the board said in a terse statement on its Twitter handle: "All transactions on JAMB services are made directly to the TSA of the board. Please be assured that any sort of financial dealings between candidates and staff are frowned upon by the board. "

Candidates involved in any financial transaction with the board's staff must immediately notify the board and provide any useful information about the staff for necessary action. Recall that the board had previously recommended applicants wishing to write the 2020 UTME to visit the office of the nearest National Identity Management Commission to have their data collected.

Possible 2020 JAMB Cut Off Marks for All Nigeria Institutions

It said candidates must enroll (as a requirement for writing the 2020 exam) for the National Identification Number. "The National Identification Number is required for all candidates who wish to take the 2020 UTME. Prospective candidates are encouraged to visit for their capture at the nearest NIMC office. The board would register candidates with NIN only" he said.
