Kano FA to Intervene in Tertiary Institutions Soccer Game

The Kano State Football Association has restated its commitment to partner with tertiary institutions with a view to promoting the game of soccer in the state.

The Chairman of Kano State Football Association (FA), Alhaji Sharu Rabiu Ahlan, made this assertion the penultimate weekend in an interview with BUK Bulletin. He said the attention of Kano FA had been drawn to the fact that the promotion of football in Kano tertiary institutions needed their intervention.

 Sharu Rabi'u Ahlan, who was recently appointed into the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Protocol Committee and re-elected Kano State F.A Chairman re-affirmed optimism to partner with the management of Kano tertiary institutions to organize competitions among universities, colleges of education and polytechnics in the state.

The Chairman, who had a brief talk with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Yahuza Bello, on st Saturday, 31 May, 2019 told him that they would find time very soon to visit the University to discuss the issue with a view to fine tuning viable and workable strategy for organizing modest competitions among students of tertiary institutions in Kano State.
